It\u00b4s baseball season! \u00a0We have been learning about baseball in the yellow class. \u00a0We talked about basic vocabulary related to baseball including:\u00a0a baseball, baseball glove, baseball bat, baseball cap, and baseball diamond.<\/em> \u00a0We made a baseball diamond using our hands and looked at bases on the floor. \u00a0The children \u00a0learned that this is a popular American spring sport and we read a story about Wally, a team mascot who lives in a ball park. \u00a0We also have learned a popular song about baseball. \u00a0While the lyrics are still complicated for the students, they can do the motions perfectly! \u00a0Below, there is a link to the song and some photos of the class trying on baseball caps and gloves and swinging a bat.<\/p>\n
