After the first days of adaptation, we have returned to our usual routine of having in fruit in English class. It is amazing to hear and see the progress of the \u201cveterans\u201d in the class. The very same children who were producing only one syllable or word at a time last year in English can now say \u201c<em>more please<\/em>\u201d and \u201c<em>thank you<\/em>\u201d to ask for more fruit or in response to getting it!<\/p>\n<p>Most\u00a0students also understand \u201c<em>sit down<\/em>\u201d and do it when I ask!!! What a difference a year makes!<\/p>\n<p>The students also now know they are in the \u201c<em>yellow<\/em>\u201d class. We count\u00a0and name\u00a0the fruit each day (mostly <em>pears<\/em>) and discuss it\u2019s color (<em>green<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>We have just begun our first topic, following Carmen\u2019s lead. We have begun to learn about the family in English. Despu\u00e9s de los primeros d\u00edas de adaptaci\u00f3n, hemos vuelto a nuestra rutina habitual de tomar la fruta en la clase de Ingl\u00e9s. Es sorprendente escuchar y ver el progreso de los \u00abveteranos\u00bb de la clase. Los mismos ni\u00f1os que estaban produciendo s\u00f3lo una s\u00edlaba o palabra a la vez el a\u00f1o pasado, ahora pueden decir \u00abm\u00e1s por favor\u00bb y \u00abgracias\u00bb para pedir m\u00e1s fruta o en respuesta a conseguirlo!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La mayor\u00eda de los estudiantes tambi\u00e9n entienden \u00absi\u00e9ntate\u00bb y lo hacen cuando se lo pido !!! \u00a1Qu\u00e9 diferencia hace un a\u00f1o!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n los estudiantes ahora saben que est\u00e1n en la clase \u00abamarilla\u00bb. De momento seguimos la misma rutina que el a\u00f1o pasado, pero profundizando. Contamos y nombramos las piezas de la fruta cada d\u00eda (en su mayor\u00eda peras) e identificamos su color (verde).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Acabamos de empezar nuestro primer tema, siguiendo el ejemplo de Carmen. Hemos comenzado a aprender el vocabulario relacionado con la familia en Ingl\u00e9s. Hemos hablado de \u00abMam\u00e1, pap\u00e1, hermana, hermano, y el beb\u00e9\u00bb y hemos identificado a los estudiantes en la clase que tienen hermanas, hermanos y beb\u00e9s en sus familias.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Aqui os pongo un video para escuchar las palabras de la familia en casa!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What a wonderful return we have had to school in English with the Yellow class.
