Happy New Year-though belated!<\/p>\n

The Yellow Class had a happy return to school after the holidays, and an easy return to English class! \u00a0Almost everybody remembered all the vocabulary that we worked on in the first term, including fruit, colors, snowflakes, pleases, and thank -yous!<\/p>\n

In all this cold weather we have spent our time moving, singing \u00abHead, Shoulders, Knees and Toes\u00bb – a song about the parts of our bodies and reading the book \u00abThe Sheep Took a Leap\u00bb full of actions and motions that we can do with our bodies to keep them warm and moving!<\/p>\n

We also colored, cut (with some help) and pasted body puzzle to help us remember where to put our heads, shoulders, knees and toes. \u00a0A link to the song \u00a0and photos of our activities are posted below so you can sing along at home!<\/p>\n

Aunque tarde, Feliz Ano Nuevo!<\/p>\n

La Clase Amarilla tuvieron una vuelta feliz al cole despu\u00e9s de las vacaciones, y un retorno sorprendentemente f\u00e1cil a la clase de ingles.\u00a0 Casi todos los ni\u00f1os y las ni\u00f1as recordaran el vocabulario tratado \u00a0en el primer trimestre como los colores, las frutas, copitos de nieve, y as\u00ed como pedir con \u201cplease\u201d y dar las gracias con \u201cthank you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Desde entonces, y para combatir contra el frio hemos cantado una canci\u00f3n titulada \u201cHead, Shoulders, Knees and Toes\u201d (\u201cLa cabeza, los hombros, las rodillas y los dedos del pie\u201d) y realizando los movimientos que la acompa\u00f1an. Tambi\u00e9n hemos le\u00eddo un cuento que se llama \u201cThe Sheep Took A Leap\u201d que est\u00e1 lleno de acciones que nos permiten mover nuestros cuerpos para que no tengamos frio.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n coloreamos, cortamos (con alguna ayuda) y pegamos un puzzle del cuerpo para recordar d\u00f3nde est\u00e1 cada parte del cuerpo mencionada en nuestra canci\u00f3n.\u00a0 Pincha en la foto de arriba para escuchar y cantar la canci\u00f3n en casa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
