Hello, families!<\/p>\n

This week, we have been working on the topic of the animals and the baby animals. Also, we have been practising a lot about the English sounds and phonics, especially the long vowels<\/strong><\/em> and how to recognise them.<\/p>\n

We read some books and we had to find all the animals and them, and be able to speak about them:<\/p>\n

A book about ducklings and puppies.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

We played some games related to the long vowels: lots of fun!<\/p>\n

Jump if you hear the \u00ablong a\u00bb sound!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

After all that fun, we relaxed a bit and got prepared for PE by listening to a beautiful story about a little nightingale<\/em><\/strong><\/span>…<\/p>\n

Finally, we put into practise all our skills by simulating that we were on the beach<\/em> and we met some new friends and had to introduce to each other and talk about us, our interests… Because that is, actually, the reason why we learn languages, why foreign languages are so important for everyone of us… We talked about that and understood the importance of learning with our HEADS, but also with our HEARTS. With our heads, because we need to make a lot of effort to learn, pronounce, remember words, phrases, structures… And most importantly with our hearts, because if we are not open to meet new friends, to exchange our experiences with others, and to help others to the best of our ability, then why would we need to learn a foreign\u00a0 language?<\/p>\n
