Hello and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!<\/span><\/h1>\n

This week our Primary 1 and 2 children have been enjoying a very special Halloween<\/strong><\/span> week in English!<\/p>\n

We learned lots of Halloween words<\/strong>: like witch, ghost, bat, pumpkin, monster<\/em>, spider<\/em>, spider web, candle, scary<\/em><\/strong>\u2026 through songs, stories and crafts.<\/p>\n

First, we sang the song \u201cKnock, Knock! Who Are You?\u201d<\/strong>, where we had to guess who was behind the door:<\/p>\n

\u201cIs it a ghost? A witch? A vampire?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The children loved repeating the spooky sounds and dancing with the characters!<\/p>\n

Then, we made our own ghosts with origami paper, <\/strong>we folded, drew funny or scary faces, and created a little ghost family while listening to some Halloween songs like:<\/p>\n

Children practised vocabulary<\/strong>, listening<\/strong>, and speaking<\/strong> while having so much fun. They also learned some useful Halloween expressions like:<\/p>\n

Trick or treat!<\/em><\/span>
I\u2019m a ghost!<\/em><\/span>
Boo!<\/em><\/span>
Don\u2019t be scared!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Also, Aria from Primary 1 brought Halloween pumpkins to decorate! Thank you Aria!<\/p>\n
