This week we have been learning how to take care of our bodies and stay strong and happy. Here are some of the fun activities, games, and songs we enjoyed in class!<\/p>\n

We learned that fruits and vegetables help us grow big and strong. In class we played:<\/p>\n

Healthy or Not?\u201d Game<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Children looked at different food pictures and had to jump if the food was healthy and crouch if it was not.
Lots of jumping and laughing!<\/p>\n

Drinking Water<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We talked about why our bodies need water to play, learn, and stay happy.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Water Bottle Routine<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Every child has their own bottle and drinks water during the day.
We played a quick game: \u201cWater Cheers!\u201d<\/strong>
When the teacher says \u201cStay hydrated!\u201d, children lift their bottles and take a sip.<\/p>\n

Washing Our Hands<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We practised how to wash our hands properly: soap, rub, rinse, dry!<\/p>\n

Moving Our Bodies<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Exercise is fun and helps our hearts and muscles grow stronger.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cMove Like an Animal\u201d Game<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Kids pretend to be different animals:
jump like a bunny
walk like a turtle
roar and stretch like a lion
They love this one!<\/p>\n

Sleeping Well<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We talked about why sleeping helps our brains and bodies.<\/p>\n

We did simple stretches and breathing exercises to relax.<\/p>\n
