During the past weeks, our Primary 1 students have been learning all about the <strong>house<\/strong>, its <strong>rooms<\/strong>, <strong>furniture<\/strong>, and what <strong>routines<\/strong> we garden&#8230;<\/em><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5><em>sofa, bed, table, chair, lamp, window&#8230;<\/em><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Through songs, drawings, teamwork and oral presentations, children are learning to <span style=\"color: #003366\"><strong>describe their homes in English<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Examples of sentences we use:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #008080\"><em>This is my house.<\/em><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #008080\"><em>There is a kitchen.<\/em><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #008080\"><em>In the kitchen there is a fridge.<\/em><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #008080\"><em>In the living room you can see a sofa and chairs.<\/em><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #008080\"><em>In the garden you can see trees, a table and a swimming pool.<\/em><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #008080\"><em>I sleep in my bedroom.<\/em><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #008080\"><em>We eat in the dining room.<\/em><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students are creating a <strong>drawing or house plan<\/strong> of their home and doing an <strong>oral presentation<\/strong> to share with the rest of
