Light blue - blue class (year 0-2)

In the Blue class we have been playing with telephones.  We are practicing the vocabulary related to simple conversations.

«Hello! Who is calling?»

«You want to speak to….»

«STUDENT XYZ it’s your mommy/daddy!»

«Here she is!»

«Say hello, say bye-bye.»

Each time we play, I hear more hellos and bye-byes on the telephone!

En la clase azul, estamos practicando vocabulario sencillo relacionado con conversaciones por teléfono.  «Hola, ¿quien llama?, Quieres hablar con….., Es tu mama/ tu papa, di hola /adiós.»  Cada vez que jugamos escucho mas «hellos y bye-byes.»

In the yellow class we have begun talking about family words: Mommy, Daddy, Brother, Sister and baby.  All of the students know how to say and use all the words looking at pictures.

In addition, we celebrated Valentine’s Day by making a card with hearts for our families to tell them «I love you!»

We are playing games to practice these words and review past vocabulary too! Here are some pictures of our learning, our art and our play.

 

En la clase amarilla estamos hablando de la familia y el vocabulario asociado: Mommy, Daddy, Brother, Sister and baby.

Además, para celebrar el Día de San Valentin, hicimos tarjetas para nuestras familias para enseñarles con nuestros hearts que «I love you!»

 Estamos jugando para practicar estas palabras y también repasar las palabras que ya sabemos!  Aquí os pongo algunos fotos de los juegos!

Playing with costumes!

Once again, we played inside in the blue class using snack time and the classroom toys as the basis for our  vocabulary.  After so much repetition, pears, thank-you and sit down are really beginning to mean something to the children.  And, as a new touch this week we played with costumes and looked at carnival masks!

Una vez más en la clase azul, hemos jugado dentro esta semana usando la merienda y los juguetes en el aula como base para nuestro vocabulario. Después de tanta repetición sobre la fruta, como dar las gracias y instrucciones básicas realmente están empezando a significar algo para los niños. Y, como un nuevo toque esta semana jugamos con disfraces y máscaras de carnaval!

Animal Crowns

In the yellow class we have been learning about pet names and their noises and actions.  We  colored animal crowns using the animals in the “It’s a dog” song, and then we danced and sang and imitated animal movements.  The photos of our experience and the links are below!

En la clase amarilla hemos estado aprendiendo nombres de animales de compañía y practicando sus sonidos y acciones. Hemos coloreado coronas de animales usando los animales de la canción «It’s a dog,”  y luego bailamos e imitamos sus movimientos. Las fotos de nuestra experiencia y los vínculos se encuentran debajo!
