Over the past few weeks, students have participated in English presentations where they shared stories about their beloved pets and favourite animals. They all expressed their love and admiration for our furry friends.
These presentations in English are a very important part of our learning journey in English classes; when children speak in front of their classmates, they not only gain confidence and fluency in English but also practise important life skills like public speaking, listening to others, and organizing their thoughts.
Pets play a crucial role in our lives, they teach us responsibility, kindness and become a member of our families, bringing happiness into our homes and teaching us valuable lessons.
We have summer just around the corner! And it’s essential to remember to care for our pets during the warmer months. Making sure they have plenty of water, shade, and a comfortable place to rest is important as temperatures rise.

Hello everyone from Primary 3, Primary 4 and Primary 5!
And… HAPPY EASTER!
We had an egg-citing time celebrating Easter here at Alquería Educación!
Our primary students immersed in the spirit of Easter season before having holidays with a super fun Easter egg hunt and games!
The games weren’t just about chocolate eggs; we also engaged in educational games that tested our knowledge of Easter traditions. From sorting Easter sentences to practicing vocabulary in English, every activity was designed to learn with fun.
And… the group in charge to develop this funny activity were our Primary 6students! Thanks to their creativity and hard work, we all enjoyed a fantastic day full of learning, teamwork, and, of course, chocolate eggs!

Here are some of the Easter words we learnt in class and we practiced during the activities:
Bunny – A cute animal that represents Easter. Egg – A symbol of new life, often decorated for Easter. Spring – The season when we celebrate Easter. Egg painting – A fun activity where children decorate eggs. Basket – What we use to collect eggs during an egg hunt. Grass – Where we often find hidden eggs. Chick – A baby chicken, also a symbol of Easter. Chocolate egg – A delicious Easter treat!
