Hello Primary 3 students!

What’s your favourite animal?

Over the past few weeks, in Primary 3 we are learning about one of our favourite topics: ANIMALS!

They all expressed their love and admiration for our furry friends.

Animals and pets play a crucial role in our lives, they teach us responsibility, kindness and become a member of our families, bringing happiness into our homes and teaching us valuable lessons.

To describe animals like a pro, we are using four important «keys»:

• • Ability (Can/ Can’t): What is the animal able to do?
• • Diet (Eats): What does the animal usually eat?
• • Habitat (Lives in): Where is its home?
• • Physical Description: What does it look like?

Now, read the information shown in the following video and try to guess what animals they are describing!

Soon, we will start preparing our next English Presentations for Term 3, talking of course about our favourite animal, this presentations are a very important part of our learning journey in English classes; when children speak in front of their classmates, they not only gain confidence and fluency in English but also practise important life skills like public speaking, listening to others, and organising their ideas and thoughts.
