Children in Year 1 have been singing this Halloween Song for the last week. Children in Year 2 learnt it last year but still love listening to it once and again.  We are also learning Halloween vocabulary and playing games in the whiteboard. They all love the «Spooky Dance»! We are sure you´ll enjoy it at home too!

RAINBOW SONG
This is one of our favorite songs to go through colours in the red class but also in Year 1.
Esta es una de nuestras canciones favoritas para revisar los colores, tanto en la clase roja como en 1º.
PRIMARY
In Year 1 the children are learning essential vocabulary to enable them to function in mainly the English language in the class. We have been learning the names of the following classroom objects through songs and games: scissors, gluestick, paper, book, notebook, rubber, paint, crayons, markers, bookbag.
En la clase de 1º  los niños y niñas están aprendiendo el vocabulario esencial para permitir que funcionen mayormente en inglés en la clase. Estamos en proceso de aprender los nombres de los siguientes objetos al través de canciones y juegos: tijeras, barra de pegamento, regla, papel, libro, cuaderno, goma, pintura, ceras, rotuladores, bolso para los libros.  Â
RAINBOWS
In year 1 this week we have been busy making rainbows using card, crayons, plasticine and white glue. The children have asked for the materials in English saying the following » can I have yellow plasticine please?»
Esta semana, en la clase de 1º hemos estado muy ocupados construyendo arco iris con cartón, ceras, plastilina y cola blanca. Los niños han pedido los materiales en inglés, diciendo: «¿Me puedes dar la plastilina amarilla, por favor?»
EUROPEAN LANGUAGES DAY
We had a wonderful time celebrating the European Languages Day today. Kids in Year 1 and Year 2 visited the different stands asking the boys and girls in Year 5:

They also challenged all the Primary children to guess how many languages (official and non official languages) are spoken in Europe and they enjoyed the performances in English and French by kids in Year 6.

Hoy nos lo hemos pasado muy bien celebrando el dÃa europeo de las lenguas. Los niños de 1º y 2º EPO han visitado los puestos dedicados a los diferentes paÃses de Europa preguntando en inglés:
<<¿Cómo se dice «Hola» en (nombre del paÃs)?>>
<<¿Cómo se dice «Te quiero» en … (nombre del paÃs)?>>
También hemos retado a los demás niños de Primaria a adivinar cuántas lenguas (oficiales y no oficiales) se hablan en Europa y han disfrutado de las obras de teatro en inglés y francés a cargo de los compañeros y compañeras de sexto.
