We are celebrating the European Languages Day in Alquería tomorrow. Children in Year 1 and Year 2 have been learning about the different languages, and are able to ask:

«How do you say …?»

They´ve also been listening to this song and singing along.

Mañana celebramos el Día Europeo de las Lenguas. Los niños y niñas de 1º y 2º han estado aprendiendo sobre las diferentes lenguas de Europa y son capaces de preguntar «¿Cómo se dice …?»

También han estado escuchando y cantando esta canción sobre los países de Europa.

We are working on our presentations in Year 1. The following is an example of what the children will say:

• Hello. My name is Lucy.
• I am 21 years old.
• My favourite animal is a dog.
• It lives in the jungle.
• It is big / medium / small
• It is orange, black and white.
• Thank you.
