We continue to work on expressing our feelings with the addition of attempting to  say why we feel like that. The children have produced their very own book of feelings and are very proud to come out and read it.
TINGO IS COLD
We watched an episode of «Sesame English» in which the main character, Tingo, has got a cold. He has a headache and a sore throat. His friend Nicky is taking care of him until … she is ill, too. Afterwards, the children have role played the story and that was lots of fun. They have produced lots of English in a communicative context!
Hemos visto un episodio de «Sesame English» en el que el protagonista, Tingo, tiene un resfriado. Le duelen la cabeza y la garganta. Su amiga Nicky le cuida hasta que… ella también se pone enferma. Después, los niños han representado la histora, lo cual ha sido muy divertido.¡Han producido muchÃsimo inglés en un contexto comunicativo!

Over the last few weeks the children in year 1 have all done a presentation about their family.The following is a guide to what was said:

TOYS AND MORE
Teddies, balls, cars and dolls and let´s play! With the teddies we hug them or tell them to «sit there». With the balls we throw and catch. With the cars they go very slowly and very quickly and we feed the dolls and put them to sleep.
Ositos, pelotas, coches y muñecas y ¡a jugar! A los ositos los abrazamos o les decimos «siéntate ahû. Las pelotas las lanzamos y las cogemos. Los coches pueden ir muy despacio o muy rápido y a las muñecas les damos de comer y las ponemos a dormir.
