Clase Verde

 In the Green class we continue working on farm animals. We put a selection of flashcards of farm animals on the blackboard and describe one:

  • This animal is black and white.
  • This animal is big.
  • What animal is it?

 We all really enjoy the song below so check it out.

 
En la clase verde seguimos trabajando los animales de la granja. Pusimos una selección de dibujos en la pizarra y describimos uno:
  • Este animal es blanco y negro.
  • Este animal es grande.
  • ¿Qué animal es?    
Hemos disfrutado escuchando la canción de arriba.

WHERE IS THE ANT?

In year 2 we are learning to describe the whereabouts of different bugs. We have worked on the  vocabulary of elements you find in the garden and prepositions of position, thus children are forming sentences similiar to the following:

  • The ant is under the leaf.
  • The praying mantis is on the stick.
  • The dragonfly is next to the pond.

En la clase de 2º estamos aprendiendo a describir la posición de distintos bichos. Hemos trabajado el vocabulario de los elementos del jardín y las prepocisiones de posición, así los niños y niñas están formando frases como los siguientes: 
  • La hormiga está debajo de la hoja.
  • La mantis religiosa está encima del palo.
  • La libélula está al lado del estanque.

In year 1 we are playing «guess the animal». We ask about it´s  colour, it´s size and habitat:

  • Is it big, medium or small?
  • What colour is it?
  • Where does it live?

We are also enjoying listening and reading the animal sounds in this little song.

 
En 1º estamos jugando «averiguar el animal». Preguntamos sobre su color, su tamaño y su entorno:
  • ¿Es grande o pequeño?
  • ¿De qué color es?
  • ¿Donde vive?
También disfrutamos escuchando y leyendo los sonidos de los animales en esta dulce canción.
