My Favourite Clothes
Everyone has their favourite clothes! Some children like jeans, others love dresses or hats. What is your favorite piece of clothing? We talked about them in class and made some drawings.
Let’s Go Shopping!
We are getting ready to have fun with a role play activity called “Let’s Go Shopping!” In this activity, we will pretend to be in a clothes shop and practice buying clothes using common expressions, such as:
Shop assistant: Hello! How can I help you?
Customer: Hello! I want to buy a t-shirt.
Shop assistant: Sure! What colour do you like?
Customer: I like blue.
Shop assistant: Here you go!
Customer: Can I try it on? / How much is it?
Shop assistant: It’s 10 euros, please.
Customer: Thank you!
Practice the dialogue of shopping clothes with your friends and family. Use the expressions we learned in class! And let’s get ready to go shopping!
We will keep you updated with Alqueria’s clothes shop!
What important it is healthy life and healthy food!
In Primary 2 we have been learning about different lifestyles and we talked about healthy habits that we should follow in our daily routine to help us grow strong and stay happy!
Healthy habits such as…
Drink water.
Eat lots of fruits and vegetables every day.
Brush your teeth and your hands.
Sleep well to feel strong and happy.
Play and exercise to keep your body active.
We are also talking about healthy food, which is included in our diet, and we created our own FOOD PYRAMID!The pyramid is divided into five food groups and we are learning what a healthy balanced diet should include.
This special pyramid helps us understand what foods we should eat more and which ones we should eat less.
Food Pyramid:
Fruits and Vegetables – They are superfoods! Giving us vitamins and helping us stay healthy. We should eat them every day.
Grains – Bread, rice, and pasta give us energy to play and learn.
Proteins – Meat, fish, eggs, and beans help our muscles grow strong.
Sweets and Fast Food – We should eat these only sometimes because they are not very healthy.
Here you have some pics of the result! We love working in teams!
And one of our favourite songs…!
