¨No, no, no, not by the hair on my chinny chin chin¨ chorused the children in the orange class when the big bad wolf knocked on the door asking to come in. The children enjoyed making 3 houses with the large construction shapes and acting out the story. Below, in the photo, you can see the house of straw.

«No, no, no, no por los pelillos en mi barbilla» cantaron los niños y niñas en la clase naranja, cuando el lobo feroz llamó a la puerta pidiendo entrar a la casa. Los niños y niñas disfrutaron haciendo 3 casas con las construcciones grandes e interpretando el cuento. Arriba, en la foto, es la casa de paja que hicieron.

We went out to the playground and hunted for sticks, which we stuck on to our little card house, the residence of one of the 3 little pigs. Infact, the search for sticks continued over the lunch time playtime when children came up to me gleefully announcing that more had been found.
The following day we rolled out clay and cut our own bricks, which we are drying out ready for using next week.

We go on working on farm animals. This week we have made these cute cotton wool sheep.

Seguimos trabajando sobre los animales de la granja. Esta semana hemos hecho estas ovejitas de algodón.

Five little ducks swam out one day,
Over the hills and far away,
Mother duck said ¨quack, quack, quack, quack¨
But only 4 little ducks came back.

That´s what we are singing in the orange class. Don´t worry, all 5 ducks do come swimming back in the end, but some of the children still call it the sad song.

5 patitos salieron nadando un día,
Por encima de las colinas y muy lejos,
Mama pato dijo ¨quack, quack, quack, quack,
Pero solamente volvieron 4 patitos.
