Dear parents,

Following the topic of «The Book Week» we are learning about a very famous writer called Eric Carle. I strongly recommed all of his books for sereval reasons: firstly because children love them, secondly because the stories are fun and thirdly because they learn so much!!!! This time I have chosen the tale «The Very Hungry Caterpillar», where children are learning about the transformation of a little caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly as well as food vocabulary and the days of the week.

Estimados padres:

Siguiendo el tema de «La Semana del Libro» estamos aprendiendo a cerca del famoso escritor Eric Carle. Recomiendo encarecidamente todos sus libros por muchas razones: primero por que a los niños les encanta, en segundo lugar porque las historias son divertidas y en tercer lugar porque aprenden muchísimo. Esta vez he elegido el libro «La Oruga Glotona» (así lo han traducido al español), en el cual, los niños aprenden desde la transformación de un gusano en mariposa hasta vocabulario relacionado con la comida y los días de la semana.

These past two weeks we have been revising all the information learned in Spanish class related to animals in the jungle and in the savannah. It is adorable to see how much they have changed over the time. They are so motivated and they love sharing their ideas.

Estas últimas semanas hemos estado revisando el vocabulario aprendido en sus clases con Loli sobre los animales tanto de la selva como de la sabana. Es precioso ver cómo han cambiado a lo largo del curso. Están muy motivados compartiendo ideas.

Dear parents,

Today we have been doing something super special!! We were looking for hiden objects in the garden and we after giving them to the teacher, she gave us a chocolate egg. That was so much fun!!!!

Hoy hemos estado haciendo algo super especial. Hemos encontrado objetos escondidos en el parque y como recompensa, nos han regalado huevos de chocolate de pascua.

A disfrutar de las merecidas vacaciones. Nos vemos a la vuelta.

It was so much fun to turn our class into a pirate ship! We have loved to create our own ship and to learn the vocabulary related to this topic: skull, patch, wooden leg, hat, flag, canyon…

¡Ha sido tan divertido transformar nuestra clase en un barco pirata! Nos ha encantado crear nuestro propio barco, aprender e,l vocabulario relacionado con este tema: calavera, parche, pierna de madera, sombrero, bandera, cañón…

These past weeks we have being learning the tale of «Goldilocks and the Three Bears». We have loved it and we have learned very important values and the sizes: Big, Medium and Small.

Estas últimas semanas hemos estado aprendiendo el cuento de Ricitos de Oro y los tres osos. Nos ha encantado y hemos aprendido valores muy importantes y el tamaño de las cosas: Grande, Mediano y pequeño.
