SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN
Children in Year 2 have worked on the vocabulary on this Christmas song. We´ve played memory games and we decided which teachers were «naughty» and which teachers were «nice».
Los niños y niñas de 2º han trabajado sobre el vocabulario de este villancico. Hemos jugado juegos de memoria y hemos decidido qué profesoras son «traviesas» y qué profesoras son «buenas».
AUTUMN LEAVES ARE FALLING DOWN
We are looking forward our Autumn Party this Friday. In the meantime we are learning a song with new vocabulary about autumn.
Estamos deseando que llegue la Fiesta del Otoño el viernes. Mientras tanto, estamos aprendiendo esta canción con vocabulario relacionado con el otoño.
THE SKELETON DANCE
We are already warming up for Halloween. We are reviewing the vocabulary about the body that we learnt in Year 1 and adding some new words. This song is perfect for that and, besides, it’s lots of fun.
Ya hemos empezado a ambientarnos para Halloween. Estamos revisando el vocabulario sobre el cuerpo humano que aprendimos en 1º y añadiendo algunas palabras nuevas. Ésta es una canción perfecta para ello y, además, es muy divertida.
THE HOUSE
The children in Year 2 have been learning about the house and the different rooms in it: the bedroom, the bathroom, the living room, the kitchen and the dining room. They have played vocabulary games with flashcards and the Smart screen, they have learnt a new song and the have folded paper to make houses. We are also learning vocabulary related to furniture.
Los niños de 2º han estado aprendiendo sobre la casa y las diferentes habitaciones: el dormitorio, el cuarto de baño, el salón, la cocina y el comedor. Han jugado con el vocabulario mediante tarjetas y la pizarra interactiva, han aprendido una nueva canción y han hecho casas de papel plegado. También estamos aprendiendo vocabulario relacionado con los muebles de la casa.
