Year 1 and Year 2 are working on numbers in English, counting and adding. Year 1 Class is working on numbers from 1 to 12 and Year 2 Class is working on numbers from 1 to 20.We have played two dice games: «Golden Beans» and «Hedgehogs». In one of the games you roll the dice, count and add in English.

Primero y Segundo están trabajando sobre los números en inglés. La clase de Primero trabaja con los números del 1 al 12 y Primero trabaja con los números del 1 al 20. Hemos jugado dos juegos de dados, el de las habas doradas y el de los erizos. En uno de los juegos, el de los erizos, se lanza el dado, se cuenta y se va sumando.

How do you feel? All the children in year 2 take an interest in talking about their feelings and greatly enjoyed their conversations using mobile phones (pretend ones) with a classmate expressing their feelings.

¿Cómo te sientes? Todos los niños en 2º tienen interés en hablar sobre sus sentimientos  y disfrutaron sus conversaciones usando los teléfonos móbiles (de juguete) con sus compañeros, expresando sus sentimientos

Year 2 are working on their presentations about monsters. The child comes out in front of the class and  talks about the monster he/she has drawn. The talk takes the following format: Hello. My name is Sara. I am 7 years old. This is my monster. My monster´s name is Funny. My monster is 20 years old. My monster has got 2 heads. My monster has got 6 eyes. My monster has got 2 wings. My monster has got 3 legs. My monster has got 1 tail. Thank you.

En 2º estamos trabajando con sus presentaciones sobre los monstruos. El/la niñ@ sale delante de la clase y habla del monstruo que ha dibuajado. La charla tiene que seguir la siguiente estructura: Hola. Mi nombre es Sara. Tengo 7 años. Este es mi monstruo. El nombre de mi monstruo es Funny. Mi monstruo tiene 20 años. Mi monstruo tiene 2 cabezas. Mi monstruo tiene 6 ojos. Mi monstruo tiene 2 alas. Mi monstruo tiene 3 patas. Mi monstruo tiene 1 cola. Gracias.
