In our Primary 2 English classes, we are learning about our new topic: Means of Transport.
We aren’t just learning words; we are using them to explain our world, the way we move around and travel. Students have been standing up in class to describe how they move around.
We’ve classified our favourite vehicles into three big groups:
LAND: Cars, buses, and trains moving through our streets.
AIR: Planes and helicopters flying high! Even rockets!
SEA: Boats and ships sailing the big blue ocean.
Here you have a song to review! Enjoy!

We love our homes! During the past weeks, our Primary 1 students have been learning all about the house, its rooms, furniture, and what routines we do in each place of our home.
We’ve explored the parts of the house and objects inside:
living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, garden…
sofa, bed, table, chair, lamp, window…
Through songs, drawings, teamwork and oral presentations, children are learning to describe their homes in English.
Examples of sentences we use:
This is my house.
There is a kitchen.
In the kitchen there is a fridge.
In the living room you can see a sofa and chairs.
In the garden you can see trees, a table and a swimming pool.
I sleep in my bedroom.
We eat in the dining room.
Students are creating a drawing or house plan of their home and doing an oral presentation to share with the rest of classmates.
Some of the sentences we are using to describe are:
This is my house. My house has a kitchen, a bathroom, and two bedrooms. My bedroom is blue. In my bedroom there is a bed and a carpet. I like my living room. I play in the living room with my family.

… and see you all in our next adventure in Term 3!
This pre-Easter holidays days, in Primary 1 and Primary 2 we enjoyed a fun and sunny day since our Primary Six students took on a very special role: they were in charge of preparing fun and educational games for the younger students!
We had lots of games to play such as:
Run & Answer
Run & Stop
Sexto says
Puzzles
Memory Game
Pasapalabra
The games they designed helped them to reinforce English vocabulary in a playful way! Thanks to their creativity and hard work, we all enjoyed special moments full of learning, teamwork, and, of course, chocolate eggs!
We also have our specialEaster bunny!
We want to give a huge THANK YOUto our amazing Primary 6 students for their effort, creativity and enthusiasm. They made this Easter celebration special for everyone! It was wonderful to see them taking the role of leaders and teachers, helping younger students learning while having fun.

Happy Eastereveryone!
… and see you all in our next adventure in Term 3!
This week in our English class we became little monster creators while learning the parts of the body in a fun and imaginative way!
The children explored new vocabulary such as head, arms, legs, hands, feet and eyes. To start, we played an action game where the teacher called out different body parts and the children had to touch them as fast as they could. There was lots of laughter and excitement as everyone tried to be the quickest!
While creating them, the children practiced describing their monsters in English, saying things like “My monster has three eyes” or “It has big legs!”
We also played movement games where the children had to jump, stretch, wiggle and point to different body parts, helping them remember the new vocabulary in a very active way.
Learning English through imagination, play and creativity makes every lesson an adventure. This week our children proved that learning body parts can be monstrously fun!
