In Year 2 we are learning a little bit about the afphabet in English. Children love the different songs and have a good time with our little spelling bees contests. We´ve linked spelling with our unit on the sea with this video.

As part of our unit on the sea, as we are getting closer to our festival, we´ve read this sweet story by Julia Donaldson, in which a little snail travels the world with his friend the whale.

In year 2 we are learning about silkworms. We have played games in the interactive whiteboard to learn the vocabulary related to the different stages of the silkworm: egg, caterpillar, cocoon, silkworm, mulberry leaf, Â moth.
Finally, we are also writing and illustrating our own comic :»The Very Hungry  Silkworm».
En la Clase de 2º estamos aprendiendo sobre los gusanos de seda. Hemos jugado a juegos en la pizarra interactiva para aprender el vocabulario relacionado con las diferentes etapas en la vida de un gusano de seda:Â
Por último, también hemos  escrito e ilustrado  nuestro propio comic «El Pequeño Gusano de Seda Glotón».
