SHAPES II
We have just finished with Shapes, but we want to share this little song.
SHADOW PUPPET PERFORMANCE
Children in the Green Class performed their shadow puppet show. They produced lots of English presenting their fantastic creature:
STICKS AND BRICKS
We went out to the playground and hunted for sticks, which we stuck on to our little card house, the residence of one of the 3 little pigs. Infact, the search for sticks continued over the lunch time playtime when children came up to me gleefully announcing that more had been found.
The following day we rolled out clay and cut our own bricks, which we are drying out ready for using next week.
SHAPE BISCUITS
Circle, oval, square, rectangle, diamond, star or triangle- which pastry cutter shape would you choose? The children in the red class had no doubts and each cut the dough with the chosen cutter which was promptly baked in the oven. Later, with their tutor, the biscuits formed part of the morning snack.
