WELCOME

Welcome, to all new readers, and welcome back, to all readers of this English blog for parents or carers of the children in the Orange, Red and Green class in infants and Year 1 and  Year 2 in primary.
Our English classes started on Monday 8 September, apart from in the Orange class, where we are just getting to know eachother.
At all levels we have been working on listening skills, which come in use when learning another language. We played a series of listening games which prooved to be very popular, and encouraged a concentrated kind of listening.
In Year 1 and Year 2 we are gradually moving on to enhancing the time spent communicating in English and reducing the time we spend in Spanish. It is indeed quite a challenge for both teacher and children.
Presently, we have Lindley working with us for some of the English classes. Almudena returns from her maternity leave on 21 October and will be rejoining us in our English classes.
