We have just started our new unit on animals in Year 1. We are reviewing  all the animals names that we already know and learning some new ones. We are also classifying animals according to their habitats. We´ve introduced the «Elephant song» by Eric Herman to go through some animals names and where they are supposed to live and what they are supposed to do.
Acabamos de empezar nuestra unidad sobre animales en la clase de primero. Empezamos recordando los nombres de animales que ya conocemos y aprendiendo algunos nuevos. También estamos clasificando los animales según sus hábitats. Hemos introducido la canción del elefante, de Eric Herman. Es útil para revisar los nombres de los animales, dónde se supone que viven y qué se supone que hacen.
All the children have gone egg hunting this week. We had lots of fun looking for chocolate eggs in the garden … in English!!
