In year 1 we are playing «guess the animal». We ask about it´s colour, it´s size and habitat:

Children in Year 1 and Year 2 have been decorating Easter Eggs for the last two days. We choose colours, ask for materials and work in English all the time! We decide if we are going to decorate with lines, spots, polka dots or zig-zags.
On Friday, we all went egg hunting in the garden. It was lots of fun!
Monday morning in year 1 and we all listened to and sang along with the «fruit salad » song and then got busy chopping bananas and other fruits to actually make one. The preparation of the fruit salad was as enjoyable as the eating of it.
