Red Class has been working in a new unit on the story by Eric Carle «The very Hungry Caterpillar». We are learning some new words like: caterpillar, cocoon and butterfly. We will go no learning about bugs in the next few days.

La Clase Roja ha estado trabajando en una nueva unidad sobre la historia de Eric Carle «La Pequeña Oruga Glotona». Estamos aprendiendo palabras nuevas como : oruga, capullo y mariposa. En los próximos días seguiremos aprendiendo sobre bichos.

In year 2 we are learning about silkworms. We have played games in the interactive whiteboard to learn the vocabulary related to the different stages of the silkworm: egg, caterpillar, cocoon, silkworm, mulberry leaf,  moth.

Finally, we are also writing and illustrating our own comic :»The Very Hungry  Silkworm».

En la Clase de 2º estamos aprendiendo sobre los gusanos de seda. Hemos jugado a juegos en la pizarra interactiva para aprender el vocabulario relacionado con las diferentes etapas en la vida de un gusano de seda: 

Por último, también hemos  escrito e ilustrado  nuestro propio comic «El Pequeño Gusano de Seda Glotón».

We are simply loving our unit on the Weather. We have learnt two songs and  created a weather wheel that we use to talk about the weather with our peers. Do not miss the songs!
